Legacy Partners Distribution, LLC (LegacyPD) was founded in 2012 by Dr. Gerald Boyd, Sr. with a vision to bring handcrafted, high-quality wines and spirits to the DMV and build a distribution company rooted in quality, integrity, and relationships. As of August 2026, the Legacy continues under the leadership of Dr. Shawn R. Boyd, Principal, who is guiding Legacy Partners Distribution, into its next chapter of growth while preserving the values on which the company was founded.
Legacy Partners Distribution is proud to be a member of the African American Spirits & Retail Association (AASRA) of Prince George’s County, supporting greater opportunity, visibility, and collaboration for Black-owned spirits brands and retailers in our community.
